Toys and Games Reviews of Little Tikes Push & Ride RacerCustomer Review: My son's FAVORITE toy! Summary: 5 Stars
My mother bought this toy for my youngest son for Easter. At the time he had just turned 9 months old. We put it together the first day he received it, but not expecting Brady, our little boy, to use it. Well we half jokingly sat him on it and he fell in love with it. I assure you that he has played with this toy every day since then. At first we gently pushed him around the house and this tickled him to death, but it did not take long for him to learn to propel himself. Now he propels himself EVERYWHERE throughout the house. This toy is extremely sturdy. Its low to the ground so if he falls its not bad. The steering is fixed, meaning it won't turn , but this adds to the stability and safety of the little trike. Easy to clean & no batteries to replace and the price is easy on the pocketbook. This has absolutely been one of the best toys he has received by far. Little Tykes definitely has a winner with this one!
Customer Review: Another "poppy" review Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this "push and ride" toy for our 10 month old grandson and didn't read other reviews until after assembling it and letting the little guy take it for a test ride.
First of all the baby loves it. He's just mastering the fine art of balance and movement but he smiles with great satisfaction while sitting on it being pushed.
Other reviewers have complained about assembly problems. It's no harder and no easier to put together than riding toys, with wheels, from any of the major toy manufactuers. Takes a little time and patience and if you are not comfortable with assembling modern day plastic toys you should buy something pre-assembled.
I am especially impressed with the sturdiness of the toy. My 4 year old granddaughter loves it and likes taking her little brother for tandem rides on it. A little cramped but the toy has no problem supporting the combined 60 plus pound load.
Customer Review: Great toy for a great price. Summary: 5 Stars
Ever since my son received this as a gift he has just loved it and used it everyday. For awhile I couldn't get him off of it. He wasn't quite walkin yet but this helped him to strengthen his stomach muscles and it helped with his coordination. Before I knew it he was getting around foward, backward, sideways, he could do it all. The smile on his face was priceless. I do not like spending a lot of money on things that won't be used for a few years. He has used it for over a year now and our baby girl will use this when she is old enough. Nothing has fallen off, it is well made. This also helped my son with his walking. When he was learning he would hold onto the back and walk around just as proud as can be. It still looks brand new though it has been used everyday for a year. I would recommend this to anyone. I hope your child will enjoy it as much as mine has.
Customer Review: What a hit! Summary: 5 Stars
Our son started walking at 9 months. Today he is almost 18 months old, and pushing this racer around remains one of his favorite things to do. Like any boy, he enjoys playing with other toys including cars, balls, toy tools, real phones, etc., but this seems to be the funnest thing in the whole wide world. When he gets tired, he sits on it and loves to be pushed around on it.
We have found this to be just right: not too heavy, not too light; not too short, not too tall; not flimsy.
For our son, it's fabulous. For us there is only one drawback - when we must push him around on it, it's too short for us to do it without hurting our backs. I wish it had some form or detachable arm that I could snap on easily and then push him around. However, I wouldn't deduct points for that.
Customer Review: Little Tikes Push & Ride the Perfect Gift Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this toy for my nephew's first birthday. It turned out to be his favorite gift above all the others, including a little car that he could be pushed in.
My husband put it together in about 15 minutes with no problems. Everything went together easily and nothing broke while inserting the pieces. It even comes with extra wheels in case you need them later on. My nephew isn't quite walking by himself yet and this gave him that little bit of security that he needed. He was even pushing it around in the grass with no problems. It is sturdy enough that even with him being wobbly it did not tip over. His legs aren't quite long enough to touch the ground yet but I am sure he will be happy with it for a long time to come.
I would definitely recommend this to any one with a small child.
