Toys and Games Reviews of Little Tikes Mulching MowerCustomer Review: BEST ONE OUT THERE Summary: 5 Stars
My son is 14 months and loves it. I originally bought the "bubble mower" which was a huge disaster and was returned to the store a week later. (it barely bubbled and was flimsy). This one is well made and simulates grass being mulched. There's a fake on/off and gear shift as well as a removable gas cap that stays attached so you don't loose it. It's easy to push over cement, grass, or even carpet (unlike the bubble mower) so my son has a blast. He's all over the yard with it.
Customer Review: Lawn Mower Summary: 5 Stars
My grandson is 21 months and this is his favorite toy. First words out of his mouth most mornings is lawn mower. We went camping over the Labor Day weekend and he walked all around the campground with his Poppa and Dada pushing the mower (about 1/2 mile). He sometimes stops and picks a few leaves to add "fuel" to the gas tank. The noise of the poppers keep his attention and it looks realistic enough he loves it. And oh so durable! Which is needed for a 21 month old and 3 dogs!
Customer Review: Nice mower on the sidewalk Summary: 4 Stars
This is a neat little lawn mower. My 15 month old enjoys pushing it around and likes the popping of the mulcher. She also likes playing with the switches. The only real problem is it isn't very easy to push along thick or longer grass. The wheels don't seem large or high enough to manage. We have pretty thick turf and it is even a little tough for me to push sometimes. My daughter mostly uses it on the sidewalk. All the other kids in the neighborhood seem to like it too.
Customer Review: Great fun Summary: 5 Stars
We recently purchased this toy for my 17 month old son. We were in the store when we saw a test model. He walked all over the store pushing it, so of course we bought it. He just loves it. He has an easier time with it indoors, it's harder to push on the grass, but he still has fun with it outdoors too. It was on sale in the store so we paid half the price that is shown here. It's a fun toy but I don't think we would have bought it at full price.
Customer Review: FUN TOY Summary: 5 Stars
This is a typical little tikes toy...sturdy and fun! I totally agree that it isn't meant to be a walker, but that is why it is recommended for 18 months and up. My little one (almost 2) loves it. My mom had one of those classic popcorn popper pushers and she absolutely loved to play with it, so I thought I would get something similar for our house. She loves to make noise and this is a great outlet for all of her noise-making desires. Fun toy!
