Customer Review: Our carpet is the envy of the neighborhood!

My son received this mower (well actually, the red and black version, but it's the same toy) for his first birthday, because we thought he might be able to use it as a walker. He could not. The base is much too light for a learning walker to practice with, so stick with a regular walker for that. He learned to walk incredible quickly, though, and a few weeks after his birthday, he was running through the house, "mowing" the living room. It is still (6 months later) one of his favorite toys, and he plays with it every day.Customer Review: Perfect Pleaser for Little Boy or Girl

I periodically watch three little boys on separate occasions, now 11 to 17 months; and I enjoy buying toys for them. I bought the Disney Firetruck, and they play with it constantly....this is going to be the same. From the time it came out of the box, one of them has been "mowing" the floor. The popping noise is fine with me. It is very well made, as are most Little Tykes toys. Not a toy for learning to walk, as stated in another review. I'd give it an A*.(P.S. We bought this for my son's 2 year birthday. When we took him to Toys R Us a while back he was extremely interested in mowers so we thought we'd buy him one. While searching for one we came across this. It sounded durable so we decided to purchase it. He really likes to play with it. We let him play with it both outside and inside because it's cold outside right now where we live. Even my 5 year old loves to play with it. We've only had it about a month, but I have no worries that it won't hold up.Customer Review: Durable fun, grating voice

This is a great little toy. Doesn't do much, but our son loves it - and mows the brick porch almost daily! :) And I suppose there's some educational value, in terms of hand/eye coordination, steering, and navigating.
A small negative: The sounds are a bit annoying, and it gives some sort of "no more grass - i guess we're done - pfffft" noise about 15 seconds after it stops moving. Be careful with that, one of many toys we have that can make an unexpected noise and wake a little one.

My nephew loves his Little Tikes Landscaper mower almost as much as his Little Tikes Cozy Coupe car. When he's not driving, he's out mowing, or in mowing as he often likes to mow his room, the hallway, living room, he doesn't care, he'll mow it all.
The mower is a great toy that keeps him running and walking and generally working out all his excess energy. The best part is the look of satisfaction on his face when he shows you his freshly mowed carpet or lawn. He's so proud!
