Customer Review: Looks great after it's put together.

I purchased this product from Target and found the price to be the cheapest. It took me over 3 hours to put it together. First, I had to find the screws (HIDDEN IN THE PLASTIC DRAWS). I was able to put together the bottom pieces inside frame, I had to worst time putting the side panels. They did not match with the holes and when getting them in the inside frame came out. I was able to get it, with a lot of moving the wood. The other side panel was IMPOSSIBLE to line up with the dowels. I had to have my husband move the wood, while I placed the screws. Finally, when everything was done and filled with my daughter's toys and books, it looks great in her bedroom. MAKE SURE TO HAVE THE A/C ON, WHEN PUTTING TOGETHER. YOU WILL SWEAT A WHOLE LOT WITH GETTING THE SIDES UP.Customer Review: what size is this?/???

how can I buy any of this if I do not have the darn dimensions!
It looks great! Sounds Great! but Grandma can't buy it unless I
know the darn dimensions! I love the durability-I bought the Easel and would love to buy this-if I knew what the Dimensions
are-will it fit in his tiny room? I don't know! This is why I
hate shopping on the internet! I'm Old and tired of spending
hours looking for basic information about a product! I could go
to the hated mall and furniture store and extremely hated toy
store in less time that it takes to find out basic information
about this product. WOOD-great-what kind? How Tall, how wide,
weight?
Waste of time!

hard to read/follow directions. While putting the piece together, just maintain that part C should be facing you at ALL times. This allows for very easy assembly. Wonderful color and very sturdy. I thought it was small at first, but it holds a 19 inch TV, dvd and vhs combo player with a V-Smile (all on top) in my 3 year old's room. He loves the idea that he has all of his movies and some favorite reading books on the second shelf. Also provides nice storage space for all of the smaller items in the bins (legos/waffle blocks/cars). I plan on purchasing other wood products from tykes and would recommend them to all parents.Customer Review: Missing Hardware and is that Wood Putty???!!!

Not only was there no hardware (screws, dowels, etc...) but on one of the end pieces, it was obviously damaged wherever they make this thing and they "tried" to fix it by smearing wood putty over one of the sides. THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO SAND IT!!! So now one side has this smear of colored wood putty along the side. (Imagine an 83 Cutlass with a rusted hole in the door, sealed with bondo and you'll get the image)
What a bummer. Another company that obviously cares more about the allmighty dollar and not the customer.

I bought 2 of these storage units. One for my living room (which is more like a playroom!) and one for my 4 year old son's room. I needed a storage unit that looked like "furniture" for my living room, so that the unit would blend in. It looks wonderful in both rooms. The unit is extremely well made, and the assembly was easy. The storage trays hold a lot (one will hold at least 50+ Matchbox cars). After searching for a long time, I finally found the perfect storage solution that doesn't look like a "storage solution!!"
