This table is very big and does fit a lot of kids! I expect it could fit 8 five-year-olds at my son's birthday party. It looks attractive in the yard. The umbrella is really fun. It is VERY hard and arduous to assemble. Takes a lot of time. We've had it for a month and so far it seems pretty durable. I have three little boys (ages 5,3 and 1) who have climbed and jumped all over it and so far so good. Not the best Little Tikes product I've ever owned, but we still really like it. Oh--and don't think you can just fold it up and set it up easily. The fold up feature is meant for end of season. It takes some dis-assembly to fold it up, and some re-assembly to set it back up. I have two girls of my own, 3 1/2 and 1 1/2. I also run an in home daycare with twin 1 year olds, another 1 year old, and an almost 3 year old. So 8 kids total age range from just turned 1 to almost 4 years old. Weight ranges from literally 15 lbs (twins) to 38 pounds (3 1/2 year old) ALL of them can sit at this table comfortably and it is just the perfect size. They all sit by themselves and none have had any trouble sitting by themselves. We eat snack outside on it every time it is nice outside. We also use the unbrella and it really blocks the sun. It looks really nice and it is really durable. Looking forward to many years of play. No shipping charges were applied and it arrived VERY QUICKLY!!Customer Review: Not one of Little Tikes finest....but...

I've loved and owned Little Tikes for many years. I have four children with ages spread out over 20 years. I have probably owned close to every product made by them and I have to admit, I was disappointed in this one.
I LOVE the design.
Assembly takes forever. It's not your typical 1-2-3 Little Tikes assembly. A million screws.
I was very disappointed that when a small child sat on the table portion, it immediately dented and left an impression (dent and streaking in the plastic). I realize that the child that was here should not have sat on it, but if you are use to the older Little Tikes tables, then this might be a slight disappointment to you.

My 6 year old son and his friends used this for the first time today - what a nightmare! Four children (ages 5 and 6, between 40 and 60 lbs each) tried to sit at the table, one on each end. Each child's seat began to sag backwards and one child even fell off because the seat sagged so much. This table is very poor quality. The marketing for it is very deceptive because it states that up to 8 children, up to the age of 8, can sit comfortably at this table. Not so! I am going to try to return it immediately.Customer Review: Need to have tools & be handy to get this assembled in under 3 hours

Now that our table is assembled, it is wonderful. I have a 4 year old & a 2 year old... love it! However, plan on 2-3 hour assembly if you are handy. If you don't have tools or don't know how to use them if you do, don't bother buying it. I probably would have paid another $50 to have it assembled. I will also say that it is probably too small for kids over 5. My daughter fits at it comfortably now, but I would imagine it will get tight soon. Good quality... love the umbrella.
