Customer Review: Serves its purpose but is an absolute pain to put together

We got this table after attending a barbeque at our neighbor's house. We had been looking for a good table to have outdoors and seeing that 6 little ones (5 and under) fit with room to spare this seemed like a good option for our two boys (3 and 6) . Let me tell you, we are no strangers to self assembly items- furniture and toys. But this was the absolute most frustrating item I have ever put together. The folding feature is absolutely useless on this table and makes the assembly process maddening! Unless you are looking for something that folds down for seasonal storage, do NOT buy this table. You have to completely remove 4 large pieces with the hardware. Not to mention that getting the table into the 'open' position to complete the assembly process took about 15 minutes because I couldn't get all four sides to stay in the 'open' position by myself. Every time I got 2 open, the other two would slide back down. I have never written a review before but was so disappointed I felt compelled to share. The concept is great but for the price the design is lacking and I don't see it being appropriate for multiple children over 5. Good to pack 6-8 two year olds but beyond that it doesn't offer any more seating than the traditional two sided bench tables which are much easier to assemble and are sturdier.
