My whole family has absolutely loved this basketball hoop. It seems like we play basketball in every room in our house now. It is also really fun to take the basketball set outside next to "Dad's big one" and everyone can play together. We have had this product for over 2 years now, and the rim has NEVER broken off. I am surprised to hear the other reviews that have had a problem. My kids all Hang from the rim like monkeys and we have never had it come off. This product has been one of our favorites --especially for the price.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter received this from Grandma for Christmas. I just put it up today and I think it is PERFECT! I like playing with it more than my daughter. I was absolutely horrible at basketball in school but this is the perfect height for me to make ALL the shots :) My daughter loves it too and I'm trying to teach her to jump and throw the ball instead of placing it in the basket. Of course, she concentrates so much with jumping that the ball goes in every direction except towards the basket! Having lots of fun already.Customer Review: A Real Winner!!

My husband and I bought this for our son for his second birthday and he LOVES it. We set it up as soon as he unwrapped it and he played with it for an hour straight, stopping only because it was bed time. He even passed up cake so he could continue playing. The ball is the perfect size and the height adjustment will be very useful as his skills improve. He can easily play by himself, as most shots that go through the hoop are returned to him.
Warning: temper tantrum might ensue when it is time to stop playing.

Wow!I bought this for under $17.00 so shop around. Ours is not adjustable. I bought this for our daughter since she loves "ball"!!! We have it in our rec room...seems to be sturdy enough without adding sand in the base. If we put it outside we will put sand in the base. I think if you have more than one child playing with this at a time;and older than 2yrs I suggest the sand in the base from the start. We have had lots of fun so far with this...sure your little one will too.

I was looking forward to setting this up. My toddler loves to play ball, and he was interested in the basketball hoop at Gymboree. However, I found two problems with this set, and I'm returning it after one day of play. First, the plug for the water hole does not plug in tightly. If the base is tipped over, water spills out. Second, the rim/hoop falls down every three times my toddler puts the ball in. He loves to shoot the ball, but I have to keep putting the rim back in. I'll be looking for another set.
