There's more I know there is, but this is less a drum that it is whatever my kids can dream up to do with it. Yes it can be loud when used as a drum, but the lack of batteries is nice. Only down side is that my 19 month old does try and gag herself on occasion with the drumsticks. I love it though and wish I had gotten one when my 4 year old was younger.
