We bought this toy for our 2 1/2 year old son. It was one of the best purchases we have made! It is durable, easy to clean, and tons of fun for our son. We love that you can paint, use crayons, and chalk all on one easel, and clean up is a breeze, with the removable trays. It was also very easy to put together.We recommend it for everyones little Picasso's!

My 2.5 year old enjoys this toy, and I like the fact that it'll be with her for several years. I also like the paper for coloring, painting, stamping, whatever on one side, and the chalk board on the other (variety is always a good thing!) Unlike others, we didn't see a problem with the way the pad of paper is attached. It's a sturdy toy and we'd recommend it.Customer Review: My kid likes it

I see where other reviewers don't like how lightly the grasp is of the paper clamp. It's okay, I'd rather have it release this easy, rather than hear my kid scream when her finger gets snapped into a harsher clamp.
We spend more time using the chalkboard side. We got a box of multicolored chalks to go with it, and we have fun drawing together.

I have brought home 4 different easels, and ALL of them have had broken chalkboards. As another review said, it is a very sharp plastic material and can be very dangerous for young children. I'm going back again today to see if I can find another one that is not broken. The manufacturer needs to be aware of this defect!!!!Customer Review: Easle

The easle is what I expected. The black board is not an actual black board. Its more like a black piece of plastic. It is hard to get the chalk off. The eraser that comes with the easle is extremely cheap and only smears the chalk around instead of getting it off. I found that a little dish soap gets it clean.
