I got this for my 2 year old from Santa this year. She loves it! It was super easy to put together (I did it without my husband's help in under 45 min.) I only have two very minor complaints - the white holders on each side come off pretty easily. With little to no effort my daughter pulls them off when just playing around it. Also, the chalk they include is so dusty I had to use my vaccum cleaner to suck up all the dust. So, if you buy this - which I would recommend - buy your own chalk for the chalk board side.Customer Review: Easel Painting - a relaxing activity for children

I manage a child development center for 140 children. I encourage easel painting as a daily activity as it helps to promote creativity as well as relaxation. I almost purchased an easel for 4 children at $200 until I found this one. To provide painting for 16 children, it would have cost the center $800 (4 easels) plus $250 for shippling and handling. I just ordered the equivalent; 8 double easels for 16 children, same durability, etc and spent half the amount through Amazon. ...... Thank you Amazon...Customer Review: Great Easel! Hours of fun!

My 2 year old son received this for his birthday, and he loves it! It keeps him quiet & entertained for hours (anyone with a 2 year old will know this is not an easy task!). Assembly was a little tricky, the pad holder clip didn't fit too well, so the paper does fall off sometimes, but it still manages to do it's job. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a 2 or 3 year old who is just learing to explore the world of drawing & coloring, he or she will love it! My 3 year old daughter received her Little Tikes Easel from her Grandmother as a birthday present. My daughter loves it. We purchased colored chalk and more paper and she couldn't have been happier. I found the assembly to be a snap. It took about 15 minutes to assemble. I am very pleased with how easy the clean up is. The trays are easy to remove and transport to the sink to wash out paint. My daughter has many Little Tikes products and they have never failed to live up to our high expectations.Customer Review: Love this toy

I bought this easel for my then 15 month old for Christmas. She is now 22 months old and we play with it every day. It is really sturdy and easy to put together, and the crayon holder lifts off for easy cleaning. I haven't tried the chalk side yet but I am going to soon. This a great investment as it will grow with your child and the quality makes me think that this toy will be around for quite a few years. One word of advice is that it does take up quite a bit of room.
