My father bought this for my two-year-old's Second Birthday. We had some difficulty putting it together, as the chalkboard was cracked. When we attempted to put the clip which holds the paper together, we discovered it was broken as well.Overall, however, my daughter loves to color (and I mean, she loves to color All Day LONG!!! Even when she wakes up at 3 a.m., she wants to color!!) and this easel has helped her to do just that. She loves being able to erase her chalk drawings all by herself and is able to tear off the sheets of paper with ease.
Aside from problems we had putting this together, it has been a joy to own.

My kids enjoyed this product but it has caused me some frustration. The clip isn't tight enough to hold a single sheet of paper, I had to use a booklet of painting paper to make it stay. If your child gets some on the side of the booklet, all the rest of the pages will stick together. The chalkboard isn't all that great either. It isn't a real chalkboard, it is made of some plastic material and it makes it hard to erase the chalk. However, there is one feature that I really like. You can remove the trays that hold the paints or chalk and wash them in your sink!!!! Overall, I don't really think this product is worth the money.Customer Review: My toddler loves this easel

My 2 1/2 year old received this for Christmas and has used this every day since; she loves it. I like the fact that it folds up (not that I have put it away yet), and the fact that the white trays are removable makes it easy to clean. Overall we are very happy with this easel. The only thing that I don't like is that the chalk board is black plastic and well, black plastic doesn't perform the same as a real chalkboard; it is hard to draw on and erase. If the chalkboard were real and ideally, if the height of the easel were adjustable (to accommodate growth), I would have nothing but good things to say about this easel.Customer Review: A MUST HAVE item

Sturdy, simple to assemble, easy to clean, and loads of fun. I couldn't say enough good things about this easel. I must have looked at every easel out there before buying this for our 2 1/2 year old for Christmas. I can't even imagine having to clean an easel without removable trays! But the trays pop right off/on this one so you can take any mess to the sink for easy clean up. I was worried that the plastic chalk board wouldn't work like a real chalk board, but it does. We use it to write the letter of the day on it every morning. If you are looking for the best easel, stop right here.Customer Review: Flimsy at best

We purchased this easel today and will be returning it tomorrow. Assembly is difficult, and one of the parts that holds up one of the trays broke. The clip that holds on the paper is an engineering disaster, it could have been held on much easier with longer screws and we have been unable to get it to hold up the paper. My daughter does love the chalk board (she is 3 years old). Huge disappointment, with the added frustration of having to return the item. We will be purchasing another one from a different manufacturer that will, hopefully, live up to our expectations.
