Customer Review: Fun "jungle gym" for children

We purchased this for for my daughter when she was 2 1/2. She likes climbing up the "Rock walls" and sliding down the big slide. She also loved using the area underneath for a clubhouse. However, now that the spiders have found the clubhouse appealing, she tends to be afraid to go in there. I have to check it and clear it out for her. The red slide is very fast and she likes to pretend she's on a pirate ship. She uses the steering wheel to steer her ship and then sliding down the slide to embark onto an island.
The only problems I've had with this item are that she did get stuck in the blue tunnel once, but I'm not sure how. Also, I find the smaller slide isn't used much and has to be turned over for steps. However, the way the steps are designed on the underside of the small slide, makes it easy for her to lose her balance and fall off. Now that we've had it for about 5 months, she is better with using the smaller slide, but she doesn't really need to use it. She can climb up on the lower platform.
My other critique of the product is that it does get hot in the sun and also the plastic becomes more pliant from the sun. This is obviously the downside of plastic equipment. So I would recommend finding a shady place for it.
