My daughter (& my son) has lots of fun with this kitchen. She got it at about 8 months & still plays with it every day almost a year later. We also bought an accessory set that has a pan, salt shaker, & utensils. She doesn't always cook with it, but she has lots of fun stuffing things into the microwave, oven, & refrigerator. The door comes off fairly easily, but just snaps back in, so I don't think it's a big deal. We're very happy with it.Customer Review: Kind of a disappointment

I expected this toy to have a little more to it. Yeah, the burner and "sink" parts make a noise and light up a little, but the toast doesn't come out of the toaster and the food accessories are pretty boring. That said, my 1 and 4 year-olds both play with it some. I was hoping for a little more action to distract them while I cook in the actual kitchen. Also, the door to the refrigerator falls off easily (and goes back on pretty easily, too).Customer Review: Initially delighted, but now disappointed!

I bought this kitchen set for my daughter's first birthday. She immediately loved it and played with it longer than any other toy she's ever had. However, it took her one day to realize that the door of the refrigerator comes off, and now she takes that off when she begins to play with it. She gets frustrated that she cannot put it back on. Why did they have to make the door this way?!?!?! Still, she likes the shape sorter and the sounds.Customer Review: Not made very good.

I wouldn't call my daughter destructive, but she ripped the door off the Fridge NUMEROUS times. It clicks back into place, but you'd think it would be made a little bit better. it's just annoying to have to fix it all the time. I got it for her when she was 15 months old. I'm now Selling it on Ebay for this year since she never plays with it anyway, and when she does, it's just to tear the door off. :)

My 8 month old got this for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! He is fascinated with opening all the little doors. This kitchen keeps his attention longer than anything else. He also loves all of the sounds it makes.
The only negative thing: now that he has learned to pull up he tries to pull up on the kitchen and it is too light-weight for this task. He topples the kitchen frequently.
