I got this toy for my daughter for her first birthday, which is actually not until next week, but I had to let her have it. I don't think she really understands that she is pretending to cook, but she loves the sounds it makes, and we all play with it together. She has such a good time making breakfast for her Mommy and Daddy! She cooked me an egg and Daddy some cheese just a little while ago. She is full of smiles! We are having a lot of fun with this toy. My only complaint is that the door on the refrigerator is a little bit too flimsy and I am afraid she is going to break it off. Hopefully this will not happen!Customer Review: Great product

This was a gift for my 1 year to keep at her grandma's house since she didn't have her big kitchen there to play with. I thought she may play with it occasionally but figured she'd lose interest in it pretty quick. She's 3 yrs old now and still plays with this when she goes to Grandma's house. They do live out of state, so she only sees this toy about once a month, but still loves playing with it. I'm not sure how much interest it would hold if she saw it everyday though. Great price and of course Little Tikes is always good quality. It's nothing fancy but it does make a few noises so it's good for pretend play.Customer Review: Great sounds!

My 10-1/2 month old son absolutely loved this kitchen, from the minute it came out of the box. He loves opening and closing the refrigerator, microwave and oven doors. Mostly, he loves the "egg" and will search the living room to find it (even under the bookshelves!). The sounds are great - and are much less annoying than those of the many of other toys in the livingroom. The refrigerator door did fall off once, but was easily fixed. And while the set IS pretty small (it's the same height as him when he's sitting), it's nice to have a kitchen set that we don't have to move out a couch for!Customer Review: Great Starter

We have had this toy with both our daughters. My 3yr old still enjoys playing with it, but because it is so low to the ground my baby (almost a year) is the one that really loves it. My first daughter loved it just as much when she was about that age also. We like the shapes and the basic pots and open and closing of the doors and such. It is difficult to put things in the fridge and have them stay, but that isn't such a big deal because they play in all the other compartments. By the time my oldest was two she was ready for a bigger kitchen, but it is great entertainment for the younger!Customer Review: Domestic Fun!

Our daughter received this on her first birthday and truly enjoys "pretending to be Mummy." At first she was afraid of the boiling sound of the stove, but that's only because it turns red and I taught her to be cautious around our hot stove. She especially likes the music from the sink and the oven and we dance in the kitchen as it plays. When I make toast, she'll run over to her kitchen and press the toast several times. When I'm making eggs, she "makes eggs" too. When I make grilled cheese, she pulls out the cheese. I think it's a fun toy and our daughter seems to enjoy it, too.
