Customer Review: Got this for my child to grow into

I bought this for my nine month old boy for Christmas. He loved crawling up stairs so I thought this would something safer for him to climb up. He absolutely loves it and has since we first gave it to him. My biggest consern is that he is constantly getting hurt on it. My sisters son who is fifteen months was getting hurt on it daily as well. We would try many things to avoid them getting hurt on it but to no prevail. We put it in the same room we were in so we could watch them on it but as soon as we turned our backs even for a second they were already up to the top and on thier way down! So next we tried putting couch cushions around it so when they fell they wouldn't get hurt, but they would slide off the cushions or slip between them. Next we tried putting it in another room and keeping the door shut. But I found my son constantly sneeking off and waiting for the oportunity to get into the room to it. We don't have any rooms in this house that aren't used at least some of the time. I have only had this slide in the house, but it's so dangerous that I couldn't imagine taking it outside! Anyways I know that my son is too young for this toy but my sisters boy isn't. All in all my son and my sisters boy love love love the slide probably too much. They are both very active kids that love to climb on top of things. This is a good toy if it is under constant supervision!
