Toys and Games Reviews of Little Tikes Climb & Slide CastleCustomer Review: Just Great for our 14 month old Summary: 5 Stars
I was concerned about the rock climb wall instead of steps to get up to the slide after reading other reviews, but our 14 month old has mastered it after about 10 tries. It is much easier with shoes on or barefoot than with slippery socks. Might be good to give her a little bit of a challenge so she doesn't grow bored with it and she loves to stand at the top and spin the wheel. She flies down the slide by herself as well. We are quite pleased-it doesn't take up too much room in our family room and will be perfect outside in the summer.
Customer Review: Great purchase! Summary: 5 Stars
I just bought this toy for my 20 month old twins. They absolutely love it. It did only take 10 minutes to put together, but you do need some muscle. My husband had to finish putting it together, because I wasn't strong enough to snap in the slide.
We put it in our finished basement and purchased Step2 playmats to put under it. My twins are on the slim size, about 25lbs, and they are able to fit on top of it and have no problems with the rock wall or the slide. When they're both playing on it, it seems very sturdy.
Customer Review: unsturdy Summary: 3 Stars
Like most people I did some research to find a good outdoor climber for my son on his 1st b-day and one that wasn't too big so that we could put it in the house in the winter time. Most of the reviews about this toy were good. However, I have found that if I don't hold onto him every min he plays on this toy, he would fall.(back down the steps or down the slide) also the sides are too wobbly and the slide is too steep. I wish I would have seen Step2 Kangaroo Climber before I bought this one.
Customer Review: Too Small, Too Hard Summary: 2 Stars
We bougth this slide for our daugher when she was 1 because she loves the slides at the park. However, I had not idea it was going to be too small! Her feet almost touched the ground when she sat on top of the slide, and I had to help her up almost all the time becasue the 'rocks' are really hard to climb - even though she has been a huge climber since she could crawl! I wish I had spent my money on something bigger and more substaintial. She is two now, and hardly ever plays with it!
Customer Review: Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
Bought this a year ago for my son, then 1.He is 2 now, he loves it and still plays with it. He has mastered the climbing and sliding and turns the castle over to find new ways to play with it. Other times, he just sits at the top while watching TV or playing with his cars.
Would recommend this to anyone who wants their child to have some exercise while indoors, climbing and sliding several times a day is pretty good activity if you have to stay indoors all day.
