Toys and Games Reviews of Little Tikes Climb & Slide Castle

Customer Review: Great size, great fun!
Summary: 5 Stars

I did a lot of research on slides before buying this one. I'm glad I did because I think I made a good decision. It's a great size for indoors, and while it is light enough for a strong baby to scoot it across the floor, my daughter can still climb and play all over it without it moving (and she doesn't scoot it across the floor even though she could). We bought it for her first birthday, and after about three weeks, she'd mastered the whole thing. The rock wall is a bit tricky, and with socks her feet slip off sometimes, but she can still do it all by herself after teaching her how. She can slide down five foot slides at the park by herself, but still enjoys this little 2 foot slide. So far the durability is great, and she loves it so much she barely plays with anything else in her room now! I would definitely recommend it!

Customer Review: Nanny in a box. Love love love
Summary: 5 Stars

The ultimate space saving eye pleasing toddler tolerating toy! First off you must know that this is a perfect big ticket item for a small playroom/living room like ours. My little guy got it at 13 months (now 26 months and still uses daily) and at the time was not quite able to climb the rock wall but loved to hang out underneath the castle like a fort. Plenty of room to play. He's always been in the 90th percentile for height and the slide is plenty huge... STILL lots of room to grow. A great little investment. One bad thing is on carpet it's light as a feather and gets slid around very easily. Worth the money... especially if tight on space. I think it's ideal for indoor use... it's so bright and pretty I'd hate to risk too much sun damage but we do haul it to the yard on nice days

Customer Review: climber
Summary: 3 Stars

I got this for my son who was 15 months at the time. He was trying to climb anything he could and I thought this would be good for him. He does okay with it but has trouble climbing up at times (though I'm sure in a few months he won't) and he likes to stand on the platform and shake the sides. It has held up so far though I check the screws/bolts once in awhile to make sure they aren't loose. Overall, I think this product is good. He is able to climb, has learned how to use a slide and loves playing with the wheel. The size is good too as we keep it in the house. One thing I was not too crazy about was that the slide "pops" into holes. We had a hard time getting it to fit and I worried a bit that it would fall when he used it (so far so good at 25lbs).

Customer Review: Climb and Slide
Summary: 5 Stars

I was a bit skeptical to purchase this Climb and slide set after reading the reviews, but decided to give it a try. We got it for my daughters 1st birthday so I was a bit ify to whether or not she'd be able to master the climbing part. It took her a whole 2 days! She's barely walking and can climb it like a champ. She loves this. It didnt take long at all to put together either, however, when putting it together, part of the plastic decking cracked a little bit. I called the little tikes phone # and they sent me a new part in 2 days!!! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this and would recommend it. It also helps that if something is wrong, the Little Tikes customer service is very friendly and will help you out.

Customer Review: Good fun for a 15-month-old
Summary: 5 Stars

The Climb-and-Slide Castle is compact, relatively sturdy, and easy to assemble. My 15-month-old boy took to it immediately and loves the ship's wheel on the castle (although does a ship's wheel really belong on a castle?). He can climb up the sloped climbing side with a little effort, although the plastic is a little slippery (works best in shoes or bare feet). He has worked out just about every direction for going down the slide, and it is long enough for fun but not so long that he might get hurt. We placed the castle on jigsaw-shaped foam floor padding indoors.

Only complaint is that it is very lightweight and easy to push. This sometimes makes it slide across the floor when he tries to climb it.
