I was so excited to purchase this gift for my two year old. It was going to be a gift from her dad, who is serving in Iraq. The pieces that are supposed to connect the sides together, just pop off seconds after putting it on (even after using a hammer). I managed to get 3 of the four pieces to stay on but the forth one........no matter what I do, it WILL not stay put. I followed the directions to the T. I even went to the extreme of trying to add super glue to help it stay on. Still know success. It is now so close to Christmas, I can't return the product. I have to give this little tikes giant toy chest to my daughter, knowing that it will have to be replaced. This is so frustrating. I am so disappointed.Customer Review: Completely Disapointed

I receieved this toy box for my 2 sons today, and I was extremely disappointed. I snapped it together, but couldn't get the 4 plastic brackets to interlock inside to hold the 4 sides together. The picture showed using a hammer, so I did with no results. They just kept popping back out and wouldn't lock together. My husband also tried to assemble the box, with the same frustrating result. The plastic seemed warped and did not fit together in order for the brackets to be put in place. I wish I would have read the customer reviews before purchasing this product. We are returning it and will not buy another. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.Customer Review: Does the job

After the mixed reviews I was a little hesistant to buy this. But we needed a decently sized toy chest for my 19 month olds growing toys so I went ahead and ordered. I'm glad I did! It's big enough for exactly what I needed it for. It could look better but it looks exactly as its described here on amazon. My husband put it together in about 20 mins. we didnt have any issues with the screws. I do wish the lid had hinges on it though. (its completely detached) Oh well, overall, i'm happy with it and our living room looks MUCH cleaner when all the toys are put away at the end of the night ready for my toddler to mess all up again the next day.Customer Review: Blu and white toy chest

I ordered this chest for my granddaughter and grandson. When I recieved it , it was relatively easy to put together but I didn't realize when I ordered it that the lid is not attatched to the base. I really dont like it because when you open it the lid falls all the way off, and a small child can't pick it up and put it back on. The lid is just too big and bulky. I would like to send it back and get something with an attatched lid.Other than these issues, it is very large and does hold alot of toys. It is also nice and clean looking with no sharp edges.Customer Review: Great toy box!

This is a HUGE toybox and fits all of my son's toys well with plenty of extra room! It was a little tricky to get the inside peices in but I figured out the trick. If you hammer in the piece on the long side first, you can push the sides together and snap it into the small side and hammer that side in. Took me a few tries and it did pop out once or twice but once they are hammered in, no issue!
I do wish the lid was connected in the back but other than that - I am thrilled with this product!
