Having a 2 year old and a 3 1/2 year old, I wanted to find a picnic table that would comfortably fit them, but also to fit a friend or two when we are having a playdate. This picnic table definitely fits the bill. You could fit 6 toddlers on this picnic table but I would think there would be less fights if you only tried to fit 4!! My children will be using this table for coloring and crafts as well as snack time and lunch time. Right now it is being used indoors but when the weather warms up, we will move it outdoors. And the set up was a snap! Took my husband less than 5 minutes to put it together and it required no tools, only snapping the pieces into grooves. The table top is not grooved so it will work great for coloring or other crafts we may do. There are only two cupholders, which works great for us, but if you were regularly using it for more than 2 kids, that might be an issue for you. The little umbrella is so cute and definitely a must have for our sunny backyard. All in all, I would recommend this table to anyone and am very satisfied with our purchase.Customer Review: Great for All Occasions

I got this table for my nieces 3 years ago and I can say this was one of my best purchases ever. They play and color with markers and eat outside in the summer and this table is the perfect size. They are now 4 and 6 and still sit at the table. All the kids love sitting together at "their" table - even the 8 and 9 year old cousins but it is getting tight for them. The table will fit three small children on each side but now that they are bigger, they can only fit two to a side comfortably. We never fold it away because we use it year round. We have even brought it inside for holiday dinners as the "kids' table".
The table is sturdy. It does not tip even with heavier children on one side and I have seen kids sitting on the top. It is easy to clean- wipe or hose it off- and no rust. After three years kept outside usually on the covered porch or under a shady tree, it has not faded at all and still looks great.
The kids like using the umbrella in the sand box. We don't use it as much over the table which is often placed in a shady spot.

I recently purchased this table from Amazon after an exhaustive search for an upgrade (within my budget) from my kids' junior size table . I was delighted to find this item at a price way below local retail-----including a sun umbrella at no extra cost!!!!!-----plus FREE shipping. How thrilling NOT to have to go to a big box store, then try to figure out how to get it home in the family car with 2 kids in tow. And as a bonus THE TABLE ARRIVED WITHIN 2 DAYS OF ORDERING.
The table itself is quality Little Tikes construction--sturdy, durable, adorable---and my kids love it. You can easily fit 2-3 kids per side and the umbrella makes it perfect for outdoor summer dining. Assembly took less than 10 minutes (done solo) and I'm thrilled it's collapsible because wintertime storage will be so much easier. I look forward to several years of use out of this product both indoors and outdoors.

I purchased this for our twin two-year-olds. They love it and enjoy having a table that "fits" them. Although I have to say, it is a little big, from where they are sitting and where their arms fit, but they are still completely able to overcome the height difference, and I know the table is going to grow with them. It is constructed out of durable plastic and has many years of use! The only downfall, if there is one, is that I cannot make it flatten - my hands/fingers are not that strong. There is a moveable section on each side that, when pulled out they should make the table flatten, but I have yet to try it, because I can't pull them out of their spots. This is a great picnic table overall. I found that it is a little tricky for my 2 year old to sit on and stand up. She seemed to slip a lot, but she loved it anyway. I have a stocky and tall 4 year old and he was able to fit on it just fine and the bench held him without bending. It was able to comfortably seat six children under 5 years old.
It cleans up well and seems durable. It was easy to put together. The umbrella is a HUGE hit. It folds down thin enough to put under most beds. My ONLY complaint is that when I try to fold it, the benches easily detach from the table, making it a pain to fold up. Besides that, I am a Little Tikes fan and I remain one after this purchase.
