I got these on post-Christmas sale and decided to go ahead and give them to my 6-month old baby since he couldn't poke himself or choke on them. Well, he just loves them, most especially the peacocks! The best part is how his pincer grasp improved overnight because he was so determined to hold on to them and play. I'll give him the Ark (which I also bought on sale) for his first birthday but the little critters in this set have been an awesome source of developmental entertainment & play so far.Customer Review: fun new animals

These animals came with our Noah's Ark set. Not only are they fun to play with in the set, but my 19 month old daughter learned three new animal names. She recognizes and can say "leopard, rhino" and "peacock" (hence the 5 stars for educational value). She has so much fun playing with her Noah's Ark set and these animals!Customer Review: toys to enjoy

my little girl loves this animals, and I like the shapes, expressions and materials they are made of.
The only recomendation I would do is to seal the bottom hole if your children will use this toys inside water, it gets very hard to remove the water after it is filled.

We have the little people ark and bought the extra animals-my daughter loves the animals. We use them for counting, naming the animals, and lots of other games. Very cute, sturdy, and fun.Customer Review: very cute

My 2 year old really likes them. he has the others as well (alligator, hippo, panda) and the ark and zoo, so they all "play together". His favorite from this group is the "cheeto".
