Customer Review: Wizard of Math Basic Bulk Set

I originally put the Basic Bulk Set in my Shopping Cart and it sat there for a few days. When I returned, I was told that the item I had ordered was no longer available from the seller, but that I could get a similar set from Wizard of Math, which I purchased. Since my set was different from other reviewers for the same item, I think that there is no guarantee as to what you get in a bulk set from different sellers. I was extremely happy with the content of the bulk set from Wizard of Math. This is what I received, sizes are in length x width x height:
Bricks - 4x2x1(12); 3x2x1(12); 2x2x1(12); 8x2x2(10); 6x2x2(16); 4x2x2(40);3x2x2(80); 2x2x2(136); 10x1x2(10); 8x1x2(20); 6x1x2(40); 4x1x2(24); 3x1x2(48); 2x1x2(248); 1x1x2(128).
Angled roof pieces: 2x1x2(24); 1x1x2(24).
This was a total of 884 pieces, which is the number included in the invoice.
I was very happy with this generous assortment, which cost slightly less than $40. I have made purchases from Amazon for years and always read reviews, but have never written one. My original box from Wizard of Math was distressed with possible loss of product. I was impressed with how quickly they responded to my complaint and their quick follow through in sending a replacement.
Legos have been a popular toy in my family for generations. Lego specialty sets became popular when my children were young and, they were fun but, restrictive. I really appreciate the imagination and creativity that is encouraged by a standard set of Legos like this one and highly recommend it.
