Toys and Games Reviews of Pretend and Play Work Belt Tool SetCustomer Review: Fantastic tool set! Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter received this for her 3rd birthday and she is in love with it. The drill has seen the most action so far, but all the tools have helped "fix" things around the house. The tools look real, as they are not bright primary colors or oversized, and this seems to help her pretend that she really is working with them. The tool belt is a little tough for her to get on by herself, but I don't think that it is a design problem, it will just take a little more practice on her part.
Customer Review: I was expecting a better tool belt Summary: 3 Stars
This was a christmas gift for my 2 year old son. He loves tools and the tools are great(I had to take away the screws for a few months so he doesn't choke on them). He really enjoys working drill! The toolbelt, however, was a complete disappointment. It is made of heavy plastic and doesn't even stay fastened to put it on my son! It is also way too big for his waist. I am now in search of a better tool belt. I guess for $27 I was expecting a little more.
Customer Review: Good little tool kit! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great little starter tool kit. Very decently made. It came in a nice, large, hard plastic see through carrying case with a handle. My 2.5 year old son loves it, esp the drill (which takes batteries, and then drills in two directions). Not much differerent than most preschool tool kits you will find with a comparable number of pieces, but the sturdiness of these tools and the nice case make it a notch above the rest. Good buy!
Customer Review: Tool Set Summary: 4 Stars
This was a gift for my four-year old son last Christmas. He loves the tools and they are more realistic than most. The disappointment I had with the set is with the tool belt. It is made of hard plastic and is way too large for my son to wear-he is average in size, but it just slips right down from his waist to his ankles. If there was a better fastener to keep the belt attached, I would have increased my rating for this toy.
Customer Review: Wonderful Toolset Summary: 5 Stars
I'm so glad we purchased this tool set for my son (28 months old). He really enjoys it, and the tools do look real, though they are made of plastic. The piece of 'wood' it comes with allows you to screw, hammer and even drill holes. Very entertaining, and excellent for coordination, cause/effect, etc. It's most helpful to have an adult when doing more of the tedious parts of the set, but definitely worth growing in to!
