Customer Review: WOW. Really impressed with this toy.

We ordered this toy for our daughter who turned two the week before Valentine's Day. From the picture I worried the pieces would be too small but they're not at all -- the picture doesn't do this game justice. The pieces of "candy" are large -- probably almost two inches each. There's no way they would be a choking hazard and the box even says it's for two and up (but I'm sure a child a little younger would enjoy this too). They each have a chocolate top that fits onto the right shaped piece. They all have a different shaped bottom that fits into the matching place in the heart box. They're kind of soft too -- almost like a firm rubber -- so they're easy for little hands. My daughter has never been much for puzzles up to now and has struggled with fitting the wooden pieces into the slots on traditional puzzles. This puzzle game changed that for her. She is able to get all the pieces in by herself and the tops on too. This game holds her attention for a while, which for any toddler toy is a major success in my book. The only gripe I have is that the lid doesn't fit down over the chocolates when the tops are on. If it did, this toy would rock my world because it would be self-contained storage. The following is not a complaint about the toy, but I ordered this on the 8th with two-day shipping. I should have had this in plenty of time for Valentine's Day. Instead, it came several days late -- not even in time for Valentine's Day. So Amazon, being the very cool company it is, refunded my money for the item. This may be an issue with the supplier etc. so if you order it and need it in time for something special, keep in mind it could be late. Very impressed with the toy and Amazon in general on this one.
