This toy is somewhat fun but it's cheaply made. I bought it for my 3 year old and he opened it on Christmas morning. A couple of hours later, the plastic case had a big hole in it. He had stepped on the side of the case as it was hidden under a bunch of wrapping paper. I expected maybe a crack, but a large portion of the case just fell out. So I put some clear packing tape across the hole so that all of the doctor's tools don't fall through. I think the most exciting thing about this toy is the fake syringe. He likes to go around, pretending to give everyone a shot. You can probably find a better quality doctor kit out there. This one is just ok. It DID arrive quickly though after I placed my order.Customer Review: Probably the Best You Can Find

My 4 year old has had this medical kit for about a year now. It has more plastic pieces to it than other toy medical kits that I researched. The phone and the pager require batteries. It includes a doctor's name tag, glasses (to make you look smart) a stethascope with a heartbeating side and a coughing side. It has a great piece to give vaccinations. It has equipment for doing a routine physical or if the case is more serious this gives my child a chance to pretend to be a surgeon.
This is one of the few toys that my daughter comes back to play with often. I'm very happy with the product and so is she. It also scores high for both imaginary play and being educational.

Got a great deal on this kit. $30.93 plus free shipping, minus $30.00 for opening a new Amazon Visa = .93 cents. Even at full price this is a great kit. Comes with everything your little doctor could need except a patient. Very durable items and contrary to some earlier reviewers opinion, the case seems reasonably durable as well. No sharp edges on any of the plastic and the plastic is thick enough to withstand the rigors of a toddler handling it to the extreme. I dont have experience with other kits but have seen the Fisher Price kit in stores and this kit seems to have a lot more stuff. Overall I am very satisfied with this kit and would recommend it to any potential buyer.Customer Review: Doctor Can Disturb Young Kids

Some children who play "doctor" do not understand the psychological effects of doing so, with toys like this, there MUST be parent supervision or they may get out of hand or form type one dementia (nausea, sleepiness, yawning). The child must realize that being a doctor is a very difficult position and they must also learn about death. This toy is educational because it does have a booklet describing simple diseases and even talks about death of an old person. Be sure that your children have been brought up properly before using this because there is a plastic scalpel which they can use as a fake weapon against other children.Customer Review: Great tools but cheaply made - 2 broken on 1st use...

I am so disappointed. This kit looks amazing and I love all the great tools. Unfortunately, the stethescope arrived broken, the blood pressure tool band is so small it only fits the wrist and tore upon first use. After taping it back together I realized the pump that makes the dial move doesn't work...you press it and it just stays smooshed rather than filling back up with air. The glasses are adorable but too short to even reach my 3 year old's ears so she can't wear them. The case has buckles on it that are seemingly child-proof. Would have been a great Dr.'s kit if they had cared about the quality. Sending it back.
