We bought 2 sets of lower case and one set of upper case letters and love them. We painted a wall with chalkboard paint and added the magnet additive so the letters would stick to the wall. It's been great fun! My 5-year-old uses the letters to practice words she's learning to read at school and to make new words and "write" whole sentences. Then we "write" sentences for her to read -- instructions for tasks she's to perform, clues to surprises etc. Even my 18-mos-old twin sons are getting into the act.
