Customer Review: Too tough for my grandsons ages 4 & 6

My four y/o grandson loves to build and sat with me for more than an hour while "we" built something he could enjoy. He was fascinated with the gears that turned and turned, but really wanted to see the monkeys swing. We didn't get that far. I saw the box in the top of his closet when I visited this week. He clearly cannot do this on his own. I don't think he'll be ready for it until he is 8 or 9.Customer Review: Gears are fun, but this set is not the best

We love GEARS, but I'm not crazy about this set. The monkey idea is cute, but for the most part they can't hang on and they don't really spin and turn like you think they're going to. There is one gear that doesn't match up, so it's basically non-functional. But we do love GEARS and would buy more of them.Customer Review: Monkey Love

This set is so much fun! My four year old son enjoys putting the gears together. He loves the monkeys and vines that are included. He can play for hours. I enjoy playing with the movin' monkey set with him, too.
