My 2 yr old son LOVES Thomas. Last Christmas we were at a toy store where they had a train table set up with the quarry mine tunnel and my son would not stop playing with it. He absolutely loves this little 2-piece set. It's by far his favorite piece out of his whole collection. I didn't know any of the trains could get stuck until I started reading reviews here. We've never had that problem...unless you count trying to shove trains backward through the trap door and then up the hill. Regardless, this set is my son's favorite and it's seems like it should last him a good long while.Customer Review: My son LOVES this tunnel!

I just bought this tunnel for my 3 year old son, and he just loves it (I knew he would)! I thought I would write a review, since some other people have been having trouble with the trains fitting. He has had absolutely no problem! He has also been pushing his trains up throught the tunnel, as well, without any difficulty (so the trains do fit in both directions). He pushes them up through, and then says "it's dark in here", as the trains go in and then up the hill. My 5 year old daughter has also been having fun with this tunnel! It was a GREAT addition to our Thomas train table!!!Customer Review: A tunnel of fun!

My son has almost every bridge and tunnel made by Thomas, and this one rates among his favorite. He calls it the "spooky tunnel" and belly laughs each time the trains come shooting out the trap door. It is also a goof financial value since it does not cost any more than the basic ones. The only time we have had a problem with trains getting stuck is when we tried to use it with non-Thomas tracks (we have a few from the set out table came with). But with the Thomas tracks, it works fine. Just be warned that you can't back trains in through the door because it only opens one way.Customer Review: My son's favorite Thomas tunnel

My 2-year-old is addicted to this tunnel! Unlike some of the previous reviewers, we haven't had problems with trains not fitting through (with the exception of the Circus Train where the animals ride up high). My son is also able to have the trains go back up through the swinging door without a problem. Great with the regular wooden trains as well as battery powered. This tunnel is an excellent value for the price.Customer Review: Cute with bad human factors

My daughter chose this as the latest addition to her Thomas collection. However, we found that most of the trains get stuck when going through the tunnel. The smoke stacks stick in the small hole in the door. I managed to fix this for most trains by putting a large piece of tape on the inside of the door. However, it is still disappointing that it does not function flawlessly
