Both my parents had sent us money for Christmas, so I brought my kids, the smallest being 11 months, to Toys R Us to see what would catch her attention. I noticed the "caterpillar", turned it on and gave it to the baby. She LOVED it right away, she grabbed the toy and gave it a big hug. The mode with the classical medley seems to be her favorite, although she does enjoy them all.
Great toy, I would recommend it to anyone with a baby.

We got this for my daughter when she was 4 months old-she adores it-she's a year old and still plays with it.
We're still using the same set of batteries from christmas-even with almost daily play.
I love this for car rides-I can put it on the musical medly and it will play music for her while she plays with it. The music is a very reasonable volume. In our saturn you can barely hear the music from the backseat.

First of all, my son cannot push the tiny buttons himself. Even worse, though, one of the five segments stopped working after only a few months of use. I called the company and they offered to exchange it for me for a mere $15.oo, plus the cost of shipping the defective one to them. Woo hoo. I can buy a new one myself for $14.99. Our little girl loves playing the musical selections and the counting and color songs. We also like the fact that we can take it with us when we go on car trips. We had one prior to this, however, that suddenly quit working. We tried changing the batteries, but that didn't correct the problem. We're hoping that this one is more durable, but we've only had it a short time, so we'll see. Other than that, it's a great toy.Customer Review: Fun & educational toy

We bought this toy when our baby girl was 3 months old. She loves it! The different bugs & flowers hanging from it are so cute-she loves to feel the different textures. The songs are fun & the face of the caterpillar is friendly-she likes to touch it. The "musical medley" mode is soothing classical music & plays for several minutes. We still have to press the buttons for her, but probably not for long! Worth the money!
