Toys and Games Reviews of LeapFrog Baby Counting Pal? Plush

Customer Review: What a Fun and Wonderful Toy.
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this toy for my 5 month old daughter--and she and I love it.

It has 4 musical modes-the first is numbers -it teaches through unique songs relating to numbers 1 through 5.

The second mode teaches colors while also introducing different music styles (ex:Press blue and the song snippet about blue is sung in Opera etc.)

The third mode plays classical musical tunes by different composers such as Mozart-It introduces the composer and then plays a piece of their music.

The fourth mode is a continuous musical medley-It plays the classical music.

Note:My daughter is not able to push the buttons yet by herself-it is something that we can both play with together which is fine with me. It also has two velcro hooks on the back so that we take it with us.--Really cute toy.

Customer Review: great for on the go!
Summary: 4 Stars

I love it! The counting pal has four activities: numbers, colours clasical music and five sight sound and feel toys that represent the caterpillars legs. My son is still a bit young to actually activate the buttons himself but I have it in the car and place it against the backseat and he uses his feet to push and activate the buttons. I like that it has numbers colours and classical music for all round development. I don't know how much my son would actully learn since he is only four months old but he does seem to like the colours and sounds. It also allows you to play the classical music as a ecurring melody and he falls asleep to this. It does seem to go haywire sometimes and play numbers when you want colours or vice versa, but at 3 1/2 months my son does not know the difference and gigles anyway.

MY 11MONTH OLD NEPHEW LOVES THIS TOY BECAUSE IT DOES NOT ONLY TEACH COUNTING BUT COLORS AND SOUNDS AS WELL....AND THE BUTTONS ARE HARD TO PUSH BUT HE LOVES EVERY THING ABOUT IT: HERES WHY...

Customer Review: Baby Counting Pal is top toy!
Summary: 5 Stars

My 11-month old grand niece enjoys two toys in her toy box: The colorful, soft Leap Frog Baby Counting Pal is definetly one of them. Her uncle, a professional musician, presented this gift to her when she was born and she continues to play with it today. The classical music clips that turn on when the numbers are pressed are bright and infectious and cause my niece to dance and smile every time, if not simply pause to listen to them. A variety of audio clips to choose from keeps the baby's attention longer than other toys, too. This music is fun for her and, frankly, easy on the ears of adults that are subjected to repetitive listening as well! I fully recommend this toy for this age of child.

Customer Review: Everyone loves this toy!
Summary: 5 Stars

My son is currently 2 and still LOVES this toy! We've had it since birth, and it has 'lived' in the car most of the time, but also goes in the stroller, house, and field trips (to friend's houses so they can try it out!) It does not grate on the nerves when it repeats--partly because there are so many options to play, but also because the sounds are so pleasant. We've even done 'dj' mixing to make it say certain things, cracking the whole family up! My ONLY detail not 5 star rated would be the straps...which even a young baby can pull off (so never worked to keep the toy tethered) but this is by all means--a MUST HAVE toy!! I have seen it for price ranges from $10-$20 for the most part. Enjoy!
