My now 6 month old daughter received this as a gift for Christmas. It has just been wonderful and it will be great as a learning toy when she gets older, too. This is such a versatile toy with so many different sounds! You can put this toy anywhere, on a stroller, on an infant car seat, in the crib, in the playpen, just where ever! I love the different songs it plays! It has 4 different modes and each mode does something different. One mode has a catchy little song for each number, 1 - 5, another has a cute little song for each color, yet another has a different classical medley for each number you push and one more that has a longer classical medley that will play if you don't have time to sit and push the buttons to entertain your younger child. Also, each little toy that dangles from the caterpillar has a different sound it makes when baby touches it (jingle, crackle, squeak, etc.). My daughter loves music, so this has been a wonderful toy for her. While she is still too young to push the buttons herself, when she gets older and is able to push them easily, we will be able to use this as a valuable learning toy. If you are looking for a valuable toy that will grow with and teach your child, this is the toy! Also, if your baby likes music alot, this has been a great entertainer for my daughter!
