Hello, my nickname is StoryMaker. Sometimes, my mom, JaneLovesJesus, makes me do it for school. (We homeschool.) That's GOOD because it is FUN! It dosen't have any characters or anything, but that's kind of good because it is made by LeapFrog and they use either frogs or kids and that isn't the best. It uses fun games. You turn the icon dial to an icon that looks like a fun game and play. The exclamation point Twist & Shout game (!) is not exactly a quiz. You just turn the number dials and try to say the answer before the machine does. I don't like the Quiz Time (?) too well because you choose the questions and get tempted to make them too easy. I like the Lightning Quiz (Z) because you don't choose just what questions, you just choose the times table you want. Sometimes, the sound messes up, but it clears up soon. This toy uses speedy-quick quizzes & games to make multiplication as full of action as an arcade game. Signed, StoryMaker. "Gotta trust the kid's review!"

Kids groove and move their way through four games, each with a teach and a quiz mode. TheIt looks like a Jedi light saber (and surely more than one Star Wars fan will play with it as such), but this unique and colorful toy is actually a snappy way to master multiplication. Create multiplication problems by turning and spinning the dials. Then, with a click of a button, an LCD display screen lets you see and hear the correct answer. Catchy music makes learning fun, and a friendly, cartoonish voice repeats the answer, then encourages and congratulates with each success. Included are simple instructions that make learning and using easy. This cool tool can be used to build math equations, self-test, learn multiplication tables in sequence, or be tested with random equations. Made of hard plastic, this item is extremely portable and has automatic shut- off. It is somewhat loud, however, so it's not appropriate for quieter environments. --Tom Keogh
