My son Collin is ten, and has Down Syndrome and Autism. HE functions on an 18 to 36 month old level, and he is very hard to find toys for. You should have seen his eyes light up and heard his squeals of laughter when Scout said "Hi Collin"! Not only has this toy held up (Collin tends to be hard on his toys) but the value to him has been immense! While I know this toy is meant for 'younger' children, given the developmental delay my son has, and the challenges that come with it, I would recommend My Pal Scout to ANYONE for their child. This is by far one of the best toys I have evern seen, and brings to mind the old "Teddy Ruxpin" dolls. A stuffy that actually talks to you, sings songs you know, and knows your name - - - can't wait to see what Leapfrog comes up with next!
