I bought this LeapFrog Learn & Groove Musical Table for my 7 month old. She has been playing with it for a month and it has been great! She was barely scooting around when we got it, so she used it without the legs for a little while. So the play area was directly on the floor. Sometimes I would add the legs and sit behind her and help support her while she stood and played. Now, she crawls to it, pulls up on it, plays, then sits and moves on to other toys. She still plays with it every day, but she has been able to use it in several stages of development.
The toy itself has an English/Spanish option button. It also has a low volume and high volume. (Which comes in very handy!) The toy also has a purely musical option and a verbal & music option. You can go between the two by "turning the page" of the plastic book in the middle of the square. There are lots of sounds and lights, which are great for my daughter. We also ordered the "Frustration Free Packaging" and found that was super easy to open and discard the packaging.
The only negative I have noticed is that sometimes when she is going from standing to sitting while holding on, the toy has been pulled over on top of her. She moves through this transition slowly, so she has never been hurt. But I wish it were a little more stable. Otherwise, I think this is a great toy! And I am sure she will play with it for a long while!

my husband and i got this toy for our sons first bday because he was staring to pull up on EVERYTHING and his therapist (he has down syndrome) suggested to get a table or a push toy that converts into a car thing. i searched a lot...and i found this one to be the best choice. when i first put it up he was kinda skeptical, but now he LOVES IT! he pulls up on it with no problem and he actually dances to the music...and he's a BIG boy...he's just under 25 lbs. he loves all the different things to do...he never gets bored of it...ill have to say his favorite toy on it is either the banjo or the spinny thing. his therapist loves this thing...she loves how educational it is and how it encourages him to stand. they even have a spanish option which it just cool. its very colorful and not so annoying. i almost go crazy since his other toys are SOOOO ANNOYING...but this one has lots of song and noise options. it teaches shapes, numbers, abc's, open/close, up/down, colors, sliding, and switches. oh nd honestly i thought this toy would be bigger...but i wasnt disappointed. its the perfect size for him. and the legs are very easy to take on and off. its about a foot and a half tall and about a foot and a half wide both ways. hope this was helpful to someone :] happy shopping!Customer Review: Fantastic toy for 4+months baby

My 10 month old son absolutely loves this toy, he has had it since I believe he was 4 months old, maybe even earlier, he started paying attention to it around 5 or 6 months when he could completely sit up on his own. I took two of the legs off, and had it half way standing up so in his sitting position he coudl play with it and discover all of the play things on it. He absolutely LOVES flipping the 1 page book back and forth back and forth and his favorite would have to be the "open" and "close" cover. I have sneaked in a few pacifiers there and it delights him to no end.
He has played with everything on there and I have to say it has taken up some of his time wonderfully. I highly recommend this for any 4+ months old baby it definitely grows with them. After his attempts to stand, I put the remaining two legs on and he loved pulling himself up on it, it is sturdy enough for him to do it. On carpeted floor ofcourse.

I bought the LeapFrog Learn & Groove Musical Table because I saw that it has been an award-winner for toy of the year for many years in a row. I have not been disappointed. I got this for my son for his 6-month birthday and he absolutely loves it! I can take the legs off and sit him on the floor with it or he loves standing up at it with a little bit of help. The flashing lights and colors attract him and he loves the different sounds, songs, and features of the toy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something for a 6 month old. It seems at that age they start to get somewhat bored of their old toys and want something they can explore more. We bought this table for our son for Christmas when he was 14 months old. He loves playing with it. It has great songs and tunes to dance to and when it's on the words page it tells him the color of the things he's touching and other directional words. The voice isn't too annoying either. He loves the spinning banjo most of all. Plus it's great as it helps him stand and cruise all around it. He can also push it around to help him walk. I loved the no hassle packaging. There were no annoying twist ties or tape everywhere. All I had to do was take it out of the box and attach the legs! So easy! I highly recommend this toy if you like music and learning.
