This is a wonderful toy. My daughter just turned one and loves music. I was concered from other reviews about the weight of these toys but she is a small girl and can handle them just fine. I bought this for my 6 month old son. It was his favorite for a long time. He enjoyed the sounds as well as putting them in his mouth. I only have one complaint and that's how hard they are. He has bonked himself a few times and cried. I am surprised LeapFrog didn't make them a little softer.Customer Review: Simple but fun for 6 months

I got this toy for my son who is 6 months. I didn't realize until we opened it that one maraca is just a rattle and the other is the learn and groove. He loves them. He rarely plays with both at the same time but he enjoys that the two are not the same. I would definitely recommend this product.Customer Review: Good Solid Toy

My daughter goes off and on with this toy, like any other toy, she likes to shake and hit it, not sure if she cares that it makes the music, she does like the maraca aspect to it. I could do withou the spanish and she flips the switch and then spanish comes out, talk about irritating.Customer Review: Good but not great

I think it was a good idea to try and stuff all of these learning concepts into a musical instrument but it didn't quite work for us. In the end, I wish I would have purchased a wooden set that has a better sound than the plastic. We didn't see much benefit from the other features.
