Toys and Games Reviews of LeapFrog Learn & Groove Alphabet DrumCustomer Review: A Winner With Both Mom & Daughter Summary: 5 Stars
I highly recommend this toy. My daughter is having a blast beating the drums. I was amazed at how good her rhythm is. I started playing with it myself and can't seem to put it down sometimes. My 10 month old don't use the alphabet function that much though, since it is not loud enough. That's the only thing I would change about it - make that function with a higher volume. Otherwise than that, it's a great toy.
Customer Review: A little boring Summary: 3 Stars
this toy was good for my daughter when she was a baby and just beginning to walk and talk, but now she's bored of it. It was good for very basic play but as soon as she was ready for more advanced play (probably 1 year old) she became bored with it.
Just a personal peeve also, it constantly repeats the invitations to play, so prepared to have those drilled into your brain every time it's used.
Customer Review: My son LOVES this toy! Summary: 4 Stars
We bought the LeapFrog Learn & Groove Alphabet Drum for our one-year-old son. He absolutely loves it! He enjoys pounding on the drum, and the different modes give him a variety in his playtime. The songs are cute and the LED characters on the drum are adorable. The alphabet mode will be more fun when he gets a little older. Also, we like having the volume control so we can turn the toy down if we need to.
Customer Review: The Little Alphabet Drum Summary: 4 Stars
This toy is always pulled out to play with when our just over one year old daughter heads for her toys. She will hum and bop along with the music. She loves to tap the drum and watch the graphics change. She rolls it across the floor. The different settings on it make it a more interesting toy to her, I am sure.
The volume even on high is pretty quiet but we (her parents) like that.
Customer Review: Hum Drum Summary: 3 Stars
My son received this toy when he was 20 months old. He had more fun playing with the language and volume switches on the side than he did banging on the drum. It didn't keep his interest for more than three minutes.
You have to be sure to turn this toy off when your child is finished with it since it's motion-sensitive and will start singing out of the blue if it gets knocked or someone runs by.
