My sister had this toy at her house for her kids and when I took my 8 month old daughter over to play, she discovered it and LOVED it!! Of course I had to get her one and ever since then its been her favorite. I love that it plays in english and spanish and has different settings. Other than teaching the alphabet, there is also a setting for dancing and when it says to clap my daughter claps along! My husband and I were amazed!! My recently one year old twin grandsons love this toy. It far exceeded my expectaions. The graphics are great both for the alphabet and the numbers and they enjoy the dancing figure with the music. They love music and really do learn and groove with this interactive toy. The age guidelines on this toy are appropriate and I look forward to them combining the drum with their maracas as they grow and become increasingly creative with these toys.Customer Review: Fun Toy (Age recs a bit off)

We bought this for our 6 month old per the guidelines on the box. He is now closer to 8 months old and just starting to appreciate it. I think at around a year old he will love this toy...it's just a bit advanced for younger babies. You have to hit the drum around the center of the pad and reasonably hard to get it to change letters -- it's not badly designed, but it just requires a bit more coordination than most 6 month olds possess.Customer Review: We use it everyday, but not as a drum.

I bought this toy for my 8 month old daughter. My daughter likes to hit the table or anything in front of her, but not this drum. But I found the other use of it. I bought the drum together with the music table(highly recommend). The drum is perfectly fit the table as a small bench. So we use it everyday, in another way. :)
Maybe when she gets bigger, she'll start using it as a drum, so far I'm not regretting to get it.
Customer Review: Good Toy, Not as Fun as I Expected

I bought this toy for my nephew for his first birthday. He seems to turn all of his toys over to bang on them, so I figured the drum was a great gift for him. It makes noise when you bang on the top of it, but I think you have to hit it harder than necessary for a toy meant for a young age group. It is bright, colorful, and makes noise, so I'm sure he will enjoy it. I guess I just expected a little more from it.
