Since the L-Max came with nothing and it eats batteries very quickly this was a saving grace for us. It was hard to believe that the L-max didn't even come with an a/c adaptor which we thought was a rip off. If you have an L-Max or are considering buying one the Recharging Kit is a MUST!Customer Review: Excellent product

I purchased this for my 5 yr old grandson. He loves it and hardly ever puts it down. He goes to preschool but is learning so much from this. He loves it when his mother hooks it up to the TV but also enjoys playing with it in the car. Definitely worth the money.Customer Review: leapster

Got this to go with the L-Max, and to save batteries. Charges pretty quickly and that big green light on the front makes it easy to see that it's ready to go. What a great advantage to constantly replacing batteries!
