My son just turned 5 and he loves Sponge Bob so this was a natural. Some things are a little advanced for him--it is teaching counting money, etc., but not too advanced as it gives you lots of chances to get things right even if you really don't know money amounts. It will be a good game to grow on. Plenty of silly Sponge Bob antics to keep user entertained while hopefully learning some things about numbers and counting.Customer Review: My 4 year old LOVES SpongeBob and this game!

He is able to operate this game just fine after being told how to pick levels once (and we input his name since he only knows the first two letters of his name by sight!)I am glad I purchased it for my son. I even tried it to see how it works and it is very educational (I don't even like SpongeBob much). My 9 year old likes to play it too (a little TOO easy for he and I though).

this toy is definetly not for children under 5. My four year old daughter is a very good at the game that comes with the leapster she can do all of the level three games but sponge bob is a very hard game to play. I'm 30 and it was fun for me but I can see that it was hard for my daughter the recomended age was appropriate from the manufactuer but not right with amazon.comCustomer Review: Great Learning Game!

Our Son hasn't stopped playing with his Leapster since he got it this Christmas morning! He received several games but seemed to love the Sponge Bob game the most. He especially enjoyed the coin game with the crane prize at the end. This is an excellent game and will be sure to please if purchased!Customer Review: Awesome!

This is an awesome game/educational tool. I have a 7 year old who does not like educational toys. I find him playing this at night in bed! His 9 year old sister also enjoys it. Can't wait for more software. It's the best buy we made for the holidays.
