Toys and Games Reviews of LeapFrog? Leapster? Learning Game: Pet PalsCustomer Review: Excellent learning Summary: 5 StarsSanta brought this toy to my 5 year old daughter and she just loves it. It teaches her how to take care of an animal and all the fun things you can do with one. She plays this game for hours. Sometimes I have to check on her to make sure she is not asleep since she is so quiet. I would highly recommend this game for your little one. Even my 2 year tries to play this game because of the animals.
Customer Review: My daughter really enjoys it! Summary: 5 StarsMy 4 year old daughter loves animals, so when we decided to get her a Leapster for Christmas, we knew this would be the perfect first cartridge. She loves dressing the puppies up and taking them for their walks. I haven't played it much, but what I did play was educational and fun, too.
Customer Review: Leapster is back! Summary: 4 StarsFor the longest time ds had not played with his leapster partly because he got bored with the games. So we thought we would try this one for Christmas...I have not personally checked it out but, he has been playing it non stop since Christmas day. I hear him making comments like "this game is cool" " I like this game mom"! His favorite dog is the black and white one with the long tail. Now mind you I have not had the chance to check it out personally so how's that for a review? Straight from the mouths of babes.
Customer Review: My 5-yr old loves Pet Pals Summary: 4 StarsGave our 5 yr old a pink Leapster for Xmas and Pet Pals and she LOVES it! She got a DS for her b-day last month from her uncle and I'm not quite that ready yet for her to get into a more advanced gaming system, so that's why we got her Leapster, in hopes of getting her an educational alternative to DS...she wasn't into the Leapster at first until she put in Pet Pals and now she is totally hooked. I also got her the Kindergarten software but she just wants to play with Pet Pals for now.
Customer Review: Like Nintendogs but more educational Summary: 4 StarsMy kids, ages 5 and 3 love this game! It is not as educational as some of the other Leapster games, but still very fun and holds their attention for hours. The other reviewers have explained the games in such great detail that I won't even go into it. My only complaint is that it is recommended for ages 4-7. I think a 6 or 7 year old would think this game is way too easy.
And I hope that nobody buys this game to teach their kids responsibility! Even though the box says that's one of the things you learn, how much responsibility can you learn from a pet that has an off button?
