I bought this for my son for Christmas last year, he had just turned 3. He has played with it off and on throughout the year but I notice he's playing now more than ever. This game has basically shown him how to write. It's amazing. He can write the entire alphabet and his name all by himself and he JUST turned 4. He can copy any word that I write. Amazing. My 4 year old loves this game. I have to limit her time playing this or she would play it non-stop. It is great educational tool as well, which makes mom happy and the characters are captivating to my daughter keeping her intrigued in the activities. It was easy for her learn the games, yet is still challenging enough to her for her to continue to learn from them.Customer Review: Best Leapster Game

We have about 12 different leapster cartridges and this is the best game. My son loved playing this game from ages 3-5 and it really helped him learn to write his letters and know the sounds. Now my daughter age 3 is also using it frequently. If you buy only one leapster game, this should be it! We got this for my son's 4th birthday, and out of the 5 leapster games that he owns, this one is in his game system 80% of the time. It has really helped him with his letter sounds and recognition. The letter writing section gets a little difficult during car rides, but overall he loves this game. I'm so glad that he owns this game.
