My 4 year old son got this game and the Wall-E game over the holidays. He hasn't really touched the Wall-E game yet because he cannot stop playing this one. He loves getting "tickets" at the various games to buy monster parts. I can really see the value in helping him to sound out letters to create words, and it also builds math skills (adding how many tickets you need for each part). I was concerned that at 4, he'd be young for this game, but there are various levels and it can accommodate kids who are not yet reading. Great product!!!Customer Review: My daughter *loves* it!!

We bought this and another game for my just-turned 4 year-old daughter's Leapster this Christmas and she loves it! This game is a great way to help your kids learn to spell in a fun way. My daughter is big on learning and this game is perfect for her. In the month since she's been using it she's started spelling SO many words, it's amazing! She would play this game all day if we let her. Excellent game! Definitely the best of all the Leapster games and one of the best educational games available.Customer Review: Leapster Kindergarten is Great!

We got this for our daughter to go with her Leapster for Christmas. I have found it to be an excellent game that teaches several skills that she has fun learning. She loves the challenge of collecting tickets by completing the activities. The tickets allow her to purchase monster parts so that she can build her own monster. Her reading skills have improved by "leaps" and bounds in just a few weeks and it's so wonderful to see her excited to learn! Gave this to my 5 year old for Christmas. He LOVES it!!! The games are so fun for him and he will play them all day. He loves the fact that there are "rewards" (tickets) that he gets for completing the games and then being able to shop at the Monster Shop to build monsters is very fun and rewarding for him. Just a very fun game. Great way to get in some school reviewing with out it seeming like actual work. I tell him he can play this game or do some worksheets and e always chooses this.Customer Review: GREAT LEARNING -LOTS OF FUN!

I have a 4 year old that got this for Christmas. I have been trying to get him interested in alphabet, numbers - anything!!! Well, this toy did it! He has spent more time learning than playing with his beloved action figures. I would recommend this item very very highly. Great games, very simple controls and easy to set up. Games have lots of levels that make it a challenge as they grow.Can't wait for more games to come out.
GET THE LEAPSTER - it is that good.
