Toys and Games Reviews of LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Leap and the Lost Dinosaur with Interactive CardsCustomer Review: The best for your little dino lover! Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this for our 4 year old son who loves dinosaurs. This is a very entertaining and educational book. My son enjoys the different pages with fun facts and games. The last page has a culminating activity using 16 interactive dinosaur cards. WE LOVE THIS! After learning about each of the dinosaurs he can play a game where he can improve his "title" by carefully deciding whether he should make friends with other dinosaurs or fight other dinosaurs. This is by far one of the best Leap Pad books.
Customer Review: Great book!! Summary: 5 Stars
My son has had this dinosaur book/card leap pad for about 4 years. He is now 8 and still plays with it. Has of yet to loose a single card. Our grandchildren also play with it and they are 14, 11, 9, and 7. Dinosaurs are universal. He wore out 2 electronic leap pads. Will need to pass this on to other family members when he finally decides that he has had enough!!! Just found the Leap pad 2 and 3 Dinosaurs, Hope they are just as fun!!!!
Customer Review: LeapFrog, please skip the cards with future books!! Summary: 3 Stars
This LeapPad book looks great, and I almost bought it for my four-year-old twins. Why didn't I? Because it comes with 15 cards that are used interactively with the book. My kids love colorful cards like these, but are amazingly quick to lose or ruin them. I'm sure that the book wouldn't be as much fun without the cards. (LeapFrog, if you're reading this, please don't include small/fragile items like cards with future books!)
Customer Review: Different than other Leap books Summary: 5 Stars
My boys ages 6 and 3 love this book. It is different in that there is a deck of cards included that can be inserted in the back of the book and then the child can learn different facts about different dinosaurs...ie...how fast...when did he exist...how much did he eat. They love this part, "runs as fast as a chicken" "big as an elephant" it allows them to make a comparison to something they know.
Customer Review: My son's favorite! Summary: 5 Stars
My 6 year old son loves his Leap Pad. Although he has 10 different books, this is his absolute favorite! He loves the cards and never seems to be bored with it. We have the Leap Pad Storage system (I highly recommend!) and that has made it easy for him to keep his cards together. When he's finished with the book he puts the cards in the mesh pocket of his storage system.
