Customer Review: My son LOVES his baby tad

My son received Baby Tad for a present for his first Christmas. He was six months old...he is now almost 3 1/2 years old...and just LOVES his Baby Tad. He especially likes the 6 minutes of lullabys when it is time to go to sleep. We have also found that when our son wakes up in the middle of the night, he often sets it himself in order to fall back asleep with out getting out of bed. Baby tad also travels with us...it has been out of the country and will be going to Hawaii for the second time this December! It helps our son to feel right at home!
Also, I would like to note that at one time Baby Tad just stopped working...after about a year of use. I called the company to ask if there was any way to repair it, they had me ship it to them and they sent me a brand new one at NO CHARGE!!
This is our favorite gift to give new parents!!

When I went on a trip with some friends, they took a Baby Tad with to entertain their one year old daughter. She loved playing with it constantly. As a result, I bought one for my daughter when I found out I was pregnant. She's 16 months old now and she still loves it.
Baby Tad is durable and easy to clean (just use a washcloth on the outside material). The batteries last a long time (yeah!). Though I get tired of singing the six songs over and over and over again, there are at least six songs to cycle through. My daughter particularly loves "If You're Happy and You Know It" and will push the red heart until that song comes on. The other side of Baby Tad is the night time classical music that it can play up to six minutes. My daughter will sometimes put this on herself and just watch the Tad as the music plays. This is a definite must by whether for a baby shower or for your own baby.

We got Baby Tad for our daughter for Christmas when she had just turned 1 year old and she loved it. Tad was a wonderful companion for bedtime and the car. As she got a little older and learned how to work him, she would press all the buttons and get him playing his songs and music.
She's now just over 2 years old and still loves Tad. His nighttime music is played at her bedtime, and he still goes in the car for long car rides. And she's now starting to learn to sing along with all his songs.
My parents just bought a Tad for my cousin's little boy for Christmas, and while he's a bit young to really "get" the concept of Tad, his 3 1/2 year old sister loves Tad!
I consider Tad an educational toy as well as a cuddly play-with-me toy. He teaches songs, colors and shapes, as well as motor skills. And he's just right for hugging.
Great toy for babies and toddlers alike.

Love it! I have used this with my infant starting @ 3 mo & now he is 16 mo & still loves it! I began using it as a consitanty idea for a nap & sleep toy. (you do not have to put it on bed with the infant... for sids concerns) it has a night time option that plays up to 6 mins of soothing tunes to make the room not so quite when you leave. i turned it on & walk out. it made it a bit easier when we traveled... which we did a lot. so he always had something from home, even though his bed was different. now @ 16 mo i still do it at bedtime/naps, but he can also push the shapes on it's belly & have some quite playtime in bed if he's not ready to sleep yet. my sister uses her's in the car & it can be just a toy for play too... this is just how i used it. I ran it daily for about 6 mo without changing batteries. oh, and it can be turned off at anytime even mid song! which is great. good buy.

I bought this toy for our 1year old thinking he'd play with it and learn colors/shapes. He did and liked the toy but, it wasn't until he went to the hospital for four days that I realized it's value. Surprisingly, it was our three year old that used the toy to sooth himself to sleep every night while mom and baby brother were at the hospital. The babysitter said he slept through the night every night (which, even when I was at home was rare) Since then, big brother (now 5)has passed it back down to little brother (now three) for bedtime rituals. The classical music on the nighttime button is just one min. each so kids easily learn the tunes and it plays up to six min. at a time. Kids quickly learn to push it by themselves so that if they are not asleep yet, they can have more music. The other features of the toy are great and very educational. Both boys still love to play with it.
