Baby Tad is a very nice, well-made toy. My baby likes to play it from time to time. This is good, because for most of toys we bought for her, she either ignores them or throws them on the floor and happily watches us pick them up.
I first bought Fisher Price Learning Puppy for my baby, and she likes the Puppy more, but after only a few months, the Learning Puppy broke (she also stepped on the Puppy more than once). I also think that the Learning Puppy is cuter, but Baby Tad has some buttons on the chest which can teach colors and shapes. Although I have at least four other toys which teach colors and shapes, Baby Tad is the only one that has a soft body. Otherwise both toys pretty much do the same things, but I feel that Baby Tad is well-made. My baby jumped on it quite a few times, but it's still in perfect shape.

Grandpa and Grandma just bought both of the babies baby tad last week. So far hes a big hit. I love the music feature on him. You are able to set how many mins you want him to play music. Great for naps, night time, or just getting the babies to relax. The fact that the buttons light up when you push them is also great. I think he will be a great learning tool in a months to come. Hes not really all that soft and cuddle. But he does have a computer on his tummy, so how soft can he be. We keep him on the shelf next to and above their cribs while he sings them to sleep. Since the kids are moving around in their cribs, he can be easily turned out. Which wouldnt be a problem, but their is no vol control, unless i just havent found it. I gave it 4 stars cuz of that reason. But he has become one of their fav new toys :)Customer Review: We Love Baby Tad

Baby Tad was a gift from my mother to my daughter. My daughter loves playing with Baby Tad. She loves the songs he plays and she is starting to grasp the concept of pushing the lit up button on Baby Tad's bib for him to say "YEA!!!!" and starting singing a song. I've also noticed that she claps her hands to the song "If Your Happy And You Know It". The best feature I've found to this toy is you can set it for "Nite-Nite" Mode. You press Tad's Foot up to five times and he will say 5 minutes till night night and for five minutes or however many minutes you set (up to five) he will play soft music and his bib lights up . This is great when we travel because the bib provides the night light (up to 5 minutes) and the lullabyes, no need to pack a CD player or music box for my daughter.Customer Review: A big success

I bought this toy for my granddaughter, and it's been such a success that I'm getting it for all of my other grandkids. The makers seemed to have landed on the perfect combination of shapes and colors to keep a toddler fascinated for a long time. Plus, the material is very soft and nice--unlike many toys nowadays that have a coarse texture. The toy is also much gentler than many toys for small children, because it doesn't make all those shrill noises or sing jingles about some corporation. It's just a nice, simple, educational gift, like they used to make back in my day--except a heck of a lot more advanced. Actually, when I was a kid we played with real tadpoles that we collected out of the creek near our house. But they didn't do anything at all. They're nothing next to this little bugger. We bought my daughter a baby Tad for her first birthday. We have had him for over a year now and I have to say it is one of the best buys we ever made. There is NO other toy like it. He has been her bedtime buddy for quite a while and since she asks for him every night and I don't think she plans on giving him up for her new baby sister. Looks like we'll be buying another:) He plays up to six minutes of relaxing bed time music when it's time to go to sleep, and is a wonderful play toy during the day or when she needs some time to unwind before a nap. He teaches shapes and colors and he also sings a few kid songs as well like the itsy bitsy spider, etc... He is well worth the money. Buy it now because according to the manager at Toys R Us near our house they won't be carrying it anymore...go figure.
