I bought the farm version of this toy for my daughter's son and he loved it. So, I bought the transportation version for my son's son, who loves cars and trucks. Both boys like this toy. It has music, car/truck sounds, and sticks to metal surfaces. They love putting the magnetic pieces in and taking them out. I will remind customers that magnets do not stick to stainless steel surfaces.

Our 21 month old daughter enjoys standing at the fridge while I'm working in the kitchen, and playing with this toy. She likes to match up the different vehicles, and dance to the songs it plays. I wish there was more variety in the songs - it tends to sing the same thing, just changing the name of the vehicle. But it is very encouraging, congratulating the child when a match is made. The colors are bright and fun. And it is durable, always strongly sticks to the fridge, as well as holds up when carried around and dropped. The farm animal set is still my (and my son's) favorite, but this one is pretty cute too. My son (2 years old) is now into trucks and big vehicles, and it was nice to see a fridge set with this theme. The songs are a little annoying and the button on the front seems to stick sometimes (volume adjustment) but overall for the money it's a good buy.
If you're only going to get one set, I'd go for the farm animals - super cute songs, very well made "barn" to stick on the fridge, and neat learning facts about the animals.

My 1 yr old received this gift from "Santa" this year and he really likes it!! He is starting to be able to fit the pieces in and he loves to hear the songs!! My 4 yr old received the Farm Fridge a few years ago and he LOVED it, as soon as I saw the new Vehicle one--i knew I had to get it!! The thing I LOVE the most about it, is that my kids can be in the kitchen with me, while I am cooking supper playing with them!! I also LOVE how durable it is and I can clean it VERY EASILY!!! One of my favorite LeapFrog products!!Customer Review: Great toy! But scratched our fridge first day of use...

This toy is great! Fun music and songs, no matter what combination you put in. Our daughter really enjoyed this toy at 12 months for the music, even though she couldn't place the parts together herself. The magnets are strong enough where they stay put, but they come off a surface easily enough for a infant/toddler. My only negative comment about this toy is that our fridge got scratched within the first 30 minutes of being on our fridge with a 12-month old infant's light touch.
