This toy came highly recommended by a friend, because I was unsure what do get my son when he was just under a year old. Now he is a little over a year and still plays with it on the fridge. Because you have to match the pieces up, which he can't do well yet, he will be playing with this for a long time, which I think makes this toy worth the money. He loves the music and the magnets right now! It was definitely worth the money!!! Customer Review: My daughter likes it :)

My one year old likes to be in kitchen w/mommy and this keeps her interest for awhile. We both like the music (she "dances" and smiles to it) and I like that the animal noises are fairly realistic. Customer Review: Definitely top 5 best toys

Of all the millions of toys my kids have received and played with, this is by far one of the best, no question about it. I find Leapfrog stuff generally either knocks it out of the park or it's not good at all. This is one of theirs that knocks it out (like the new Tag system, which is incredible).
This thing has entertained my now 4.5 yr old since she was a baby and is still being used by her (occasionally as she walks past the fridge) as well as our 2 yr old. who loves it.
SOUND quality, something that is rarely paid attention to these days and very impt imo, for kids toys, is top notch. VOLUME CONTROL, another essential, sometimes overlooked is present. More importantly, it has OFF, LOW and HIGH.
Toy is DURABLE. This thing has been thrown down, knocked down, stepped on
and most likley bitten at least a few times. Still works perfectly.
BATTERY LIFE is great, no problems there.
The songs and feedback from the toy are great and different enough to keep the kids interested.
Just a great, great toy. Award winner I believe. Pls note you can often find things cheaper directly from the Leapfrog website (not to take anything away from Amazon, which I love...just sayin')

I bought this for my granddaughter who's almost 1. I know the item is for a little older but she's absolutely loving it and as she grows their fun will too. We've had it on the fridge and on the floor. It holds up to the thrown magnets on the floor and the thrown barn too! For her age we put the different magnets together and she takes them out but she's learning which ones she likes best - the duck. She's now trying to put that one in the right place. She loves the singing and music. I can see us getting the other ones in this series.
