This toy is a big winner for the toddler in your life. I recently bought it for my 14 month old niece and she adores it. She is a little young to understand the silly songs it sings, but she loves that it starts to sing as soon as she snaps two animals halves in! (And I have to say that I like the songs myself! )It is a toy that she will enjoy over the next couple of years. It is very durable. All of the pieces do hook to the back of the toy for storage, but the magnets aren't strong enough to hold them on very well. That being its only flaw that I can see, I would strongly recommend that you purchase this for your 1-3 year old.Customer Review: Uhm, has anyone noticed

the horse is brown? When we assemble the horse the voice cheerfully announces " Orange Horse". For being an educational toy, I'd think they'd be able to get that right. My older son is color blind and when he heard the voice announce orange for the first time he looked at me with a confused look and asked me what color it is. He's plenty old enough to not need reassurance as to what's orange and brown, but because of his color blindness he has become accustomed to being wrong.
The rest of the toys seems great, but I'll only give it 3 stars. My baby doesn't play with it yet, but he carries the purple cow head everywhere.

My son likes to be in the kitchen when I am cooking dinner. We have a very small kitchen so he is often under my feet. I asked for this for his 2nd birthday and he LOVES it. I haven't even made it to the fridge with it because he hasn't stopped playing with it. I think that this is a great toy because even if they make a "wrong" match it still plays the little song it's not like they did anything bad. He also loves to dance to the Farmer Tad music. I bought this toy and so did my mom so we have two but it is so great I am going to give the other to my friend with a two year old instead of taking it back...a real find!Customer Review: Fun and ecuational

We've had this for a year now and our year old still enjoys playing with this while in the kitchen with me while I'm cooking dinner. With this she learns not only the colors of the animals, what the animals are themselves but also matching skills. When she matches the front of a cow with behind of a pig it was play the same and say something along the lines of "A cow-sheep? You're silly" with a little laugh. Tad (the frog at the top) also plays music. A side benefit to this is the fact that because it's fun it keeps her all too helpful little hands away from the dishes and hot stove. Everyone has a fridge, right? So what better toy to take along on trips than one that sticks to a fridge AND is both educational and entertaining?! We stayed with family out of town over the holidays and this toy was a huge hit with our 18-mos old daughter, who quickly figured it out, as well as her 5 yr old brother. They spent lots of time dancing to the music and creating silly non-matches with the animal pieces. It's so nice that there's no mess on the floor to clean up and I love the suggestion another reviewer had to take along a metal clipboard for in the car play. Overall, we're very happy with this purchase!
