This is awesome. My 10 1/2 month daughter received this for Christmas. It hasn't made it to the fridge yet, because she loves playing with it on the floor. She loves to press on "Farmer Tad" and dance along to his banjo playing. At her age I wasn't sure she would understanding the concept of attaching the puzzle pieces to the barn, but she does manage to do it. It plays a cute little song when you match the animal pieces and also plays a song to tell you that you've mismatched the animals. I also love that it has two volume levels! Can't wait to buy the phonics version of this. I will definitely be giving this item as a gift to other kids her age.Customer Review: Both 10mo old and 2 yr old love it

Although it didn't keep their attention for too long after a week, the first week was full of interest. Both my infant and toddler loved it and banged it around often. It's very durable and the buttons are easy to press with little hands.
The puzzle pieces fit in easy enough and I loved the adjustable sound volume.
Only problem with any toy like this is that the pieces end up everywhere but that's not really a flaw of the product just one reason it's not a perfect 5 star.
Great product which the small ones can interact with and learn about manipulating things around them to produce an effect.

We love the Fridge Farm! We've had it for 7 months now and it has endured every toss from the highchair and drop to the floor. It's a great little toy for "kitchen helpers" who like to play in the kitchen while Mom is cooking. The handle makes it easy to be portable with little hands and it sticks well to the fridge and dishwasher. The animal pieces are interchangeable, and the songs reflect a "true match" and a "silly match". When a silly match is in the electronic sensors, the song will sing "you put a [pig] in front and a [duck] behind, put them together and what do you find? A pig-duck?" We think it is a fun little toy, worth the purchase.Customer Review: Magnets are weak

Two downsides to this toy: the magnets on the barn itself are not strong enough, it slides down my refrigerator easily; also, the song when you make a correct match is annoying. HOWEVER - this toy is lots of fun for my twelve month old but he can't seem to get the pieces to fit in the barn yet. I'm sure he will enjoy it more when he is a little older. He likes to hear the banjo play and likes to get the magnets off the fridge, or press on a match that I've made for him. I also like the fact that a wrong match plays a funny song like sheep-cow = baaaa-moooo. I love the fun facts about the animals. Let me first say that my son loves this toy. However, he is one year old, and has difficulty getting the magnets in the slot. They are not the same shape on all sides, so can only go in one way (not upside down, etc). Also only the front can go in the front, back in the back. It makes sense, just is a hard concept for a 1 year old. Also, the soft volume is still very loud.
That being said, it is a huge help when I need to get things done in the kitchen. My 3 year old nephew went nuts over this as well, so much that he is getting one for Christmas. So, the toy has staying power over the next few years.
