Toys and Games Reviews of LeapFrog Fridge DJ Magnetic Learning RadioCustomer Review: A big hit with my twins Summary: 5 Stars
My 20-month-old twins LOVE this silly thing. It has survived their loving ministrations for several months now, so I'm buying another one for their cousin. I can't tell you how many times this gadget has saved my sanity, as I popped them into the pack-n-play along with their music player. They don't seem to have any interest in the light-up numbers, letters, etc., and I doubt they are "learning" anything from it, but they love the music and it's not offensive to grownup ears. Works for us!
Customer Review: best radio for a toddler Summary: 5 Stars
This radio is easy enough for my one year old to handle...not all of the toddler radios out there are really easy for them to use. This one has multiple songs that were new to us, as well as some old favorites. They weren't as annoying as some other musical toys that play the same two songs over and over. My daughter has had it for 5 months and still wants to play with it daily. Her 5 year old sister even enjoys it, as well. Definitely one I would recommend and buy as a gift.
Customer Review: A Must Buy Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter received this Magnetic Learning Radio when she was two years old. She was never one that was interested in toys, yet this toy caught her attention instantly. At the age of four, she still continues to play with it everytime she is in the kitchen with me. I recently purchased this for my cousin who turned two and it is reported that she puts on her tutu and prances around the house with her radio. It is a hit with the young one's and I would totally recommend it.
Customer Review: Took over 2 years to find second demo pull tab. T Summary: 2 Stars
My husband swore up and down that there was no demo for this toy, that it was just a dumb toy! It has been driving me nuts since my almost 4 year old got it for his 2nd birthday. I looked online, and saw that there is a plastic oval clear thing in the back. The demo mode was frustrating because my son missed half the alphabet and half his numbers, and the songs just changed constantly. I wonder if it had any effect on his brain really. I know it drove me nuts!
Customer Review: FUN TUNES VERY CATCHY!! Summary: 3 Stars
This is another LF toy in our fridge collection ( we like the animal farm the best ). It has fun tunes that my toddler likes to groove out to. It teaches upper and lower case letters and numbers to 10. My only complaint with it, is that the magnets should be stronger. The machine slides down our SS fridge a lot! Also, the sound quality isn't great...not loud enough! I can't believe I am saying that about a kid toy!! Usually they are way too loud and obnoxious!
