I am confused by the bad reviews given this toy. We bought this for our grandson early on and he and his friend still play with it once in a while. He is now 5 years old and we still sing the lyrics to most of the songs which I took the time to teach him such as Comin' Round the Mountain, Jimmy cracked Corn, Row, row, Your Boat and many, many more which are quite recognizable. Not just a bunch of tones strung together like one reviewer said. Perhaps I can sing these songs with my grandson because they were the children's songs when I was a child. I am inclined to believe that these parents have probably never been exposed to these "age-old children's classics" as I have been. In closing, I wish to encourage parents to purchase this toy and perhaps learn some of the songs so they can teach their children as I have done with my grandson. I think it is both very educational and enjoyable for the little ones.
